Sue Ellen Grieb, 73 of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:30 pm at Elkhart General Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born in Elkhart on January 17, 1950, to the late Harold S. Grieb and Margaret A. Grieb, who survives in Elkhart.

Also surviving is her sister Ann R. (Mark) Goodman of Scottsdale, Arizona; nephew Cole (Karen) Jacobson of Mishawaka, her niece Cara (Nicholas) Di Marcello of Warren, New Jersey, and her great nephew, also named Nicholas.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a private cremation has been selected and Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements. No immediate services have been planned.

Sue was a 1968 graduate of Elkhart High School and was a lifelong Hoosier.

Memorial donations in Sue's name may be given to either NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), or to the Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 4206 E. Bristol Street, Elkhart.
