She was born June 27, 1942, in Elkhart to Henry and Hazel (Mabie) Hawkins. On July 25, 1976, she married Roy Ferguson. He died Aug. 13, 2002.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Ferguson of Elkhart; one son, Joe Tidwell of Elkhart; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Luella (Larry) Rieff of Elkhart; and two brothers, Robert (Linda) Hawkins of Elkhart and Aurthor "Skip" (Marleen) Hawkins of Florida.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Owensby; one son, Jeffrey Tidwell; and one brother, Richard "Dick" Hawkins.

There will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ferguson was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
