Steven Kendrick Loy, 42, of Elkhart, died Friday evening, August 26, 2022, of injuries from a motor vehicle accident in South Bend. Steven was born on July 1, 1980, in South Bend. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Loy; grandfather, Eugene Loy; five children, Skylar Newell, Jordan Wolf, Ethan Loy, two daughters, Abigail Loy Rose, and Jocelyn Loy; two grandchildren, Jamison Wolf and Ronan Loy; his sister Leonila "Amber" (John Vandiver) Loy and his two nephews, Anthony Rashad Tyrus Loy and Avery Josiah Loy. His grandmother Janie Loy preceded him in death.

Steven was a true "free" spirit. He was very outgoing and always happy. He lived life to the fullest. Steven enjoyed motorcycles, clowning around, and hanging out with his friends. His passion in life was fishing, and he would wet a line anytime he could. He also liked to get inked and was proud of his many tattoos.

Relatives and friends are invited to Steven's life celebration from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Billings Funeral Home. 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
