Steven was a kind, caring, thoughtful, and compassionate man who loved life and made his family the center of his life. He was a talented musician who played and sang to guitar and piano in several different rock and roll and blues rock bands throughout his career, some of which included, “The Sonny Charles Band”, “Loveless”, “The Galaxies”, “The HAZZ”, “Breeze”, “Straynger”, and “The Source.” He was inspired by the music of the 70’s especially “The Beatles” and musicians like John Lennon and Eric Clapton. For a time he served as a worship leader at Winding Waters Church and wrote special songs for his family, most notably writing and performing a song for his sister Pam’s wedding.
Steven touched many lives throughout his life and with his music. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was never afraid to be silly, especially around his children and grandson. He taught his family to be passionate, expressive, and unashamed to be themselves. Steven was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved unconditionally. He will be deeply missed by all but never forgotten and will forever live on through his music and the memories he made with so many people in his community.
