Obituary
SOUTH BEND — Steve S. Scott, 59, of South Bend, passed away in his residence Saturday, Jan. 11.
He was born Feb. 5, 1954, in Elkhart, to Robert E. and Patricia A. (Sarber) Scott.
Survivors include two daughters, Brandy Love of South Bend and Lindsey Scott of Elkhart; mother Patricia Ann Scott of Bristol; brother Robert E. "Bob" (Sheila) Scott of Union, Mich.; sister Deborah Joan (Don) Ruby of Hudson; six grandchildren, Austin and Alexis Love, both of South Bend, Hailey Jastrzembski of Mishawaka and Jaylen, Dyllan and Keaton Kincaid, all of Elkhart.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Huffman.
Steve worked as a salesman for Patrick Industries for several years, and later was employed with Ruby Trucking as a driver prior to his retirement.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Interment of his cremated remains will be in Prairie Street Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Steve.
