Obituary
ELKHART — Steve Barnes, 69, residing in Elkhart, passed away Friday, Dec. 16, at the Elkhart Hospice House.
Steve was born, in Elkhart, March 19, 1947, to the late Ransom and Shirley (Miller) Barnes.
He is survived by a brother, Randall Barnes of Elkhart; three nieces; three nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and his cousin and caregiver, Vickie Miller Hall of Union, Mich.
Memorial services for Steve will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the First Congregational Church, in Elkhart with Pastor Izzy Harbin officiating.
Cremation was chosen, with burial at a later date in Prairie Street Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
