Stephen T. "Steve" Bauer, 64, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Golden Living Center. He was born on May 23, 1956 in Logansport, IN to the late John W. "Bill" and Lois M. (Brooks) Bauer.

Steve is survived by his son, Jason Lymangrover and sister, Deborah "Debbie" Bauer. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael J. Bauer.

In accordance with Steve's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. and Altera Cremation Services in Elkhart. Memorial donations are in care of Debbie Bauer to help pay for funeral expenses.

Steve was an independent and strong-willed man who loved all kinds of sports. His favorite sport to play and watch was basketball and he enjoyed watching football. Steve was in the Dart Leagues around Elkhart as a dart player and was said to make a bullseye on many occasions. He loved watching Nascar and never missed a race. However, whenever Steve needed a bit of rest and relaxation he enjoyed fishing out on the water. Steve will be missed by his family and friends.
