BRISTOL — Stanley "Andy" Waite Jr., 55, of Bristol, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 30, 1960, in Altoona, Pa., to Stanley A. Waite Sr. and Margaret F. (Noel) Waite.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Tina M. Waite of Bristol; sons Stanley "Andy" (Ryann) Waite III of Bristol and Benjamin Waite of Fayetteville, N.C.; daughters Melissa Waite of Elkhart and Lindsay Waite of Bristol; mother Marg Waite of Holly Hill, S.C.; sisters Teri (Tom) Williams of Fort Mill, S.C., Kim (Carroll) Miller of Orangeburg, S.C., and Michele (DJ) Coon of Flagstaff, Ariz.; grandchildren Caleb and Griffin Waite, both of Elkhart, Elijah and Hannah Waite, both of Bristol, and Emma and James Waite, both of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his father on Dec. 29, 2015.
Andy was a former member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and recently attended Grace Bible Church in Elkhart. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He also was a fan of Penn State Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Andy also loved to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Grace Bible Church, 1700 Edwardsburg Ave., Elkhart. Pastor Mike Fisher will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Faith Mission or the Salvation Army in memory of Andy.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
