Sroy Run, born on February 14, 1940, passed away on July 16, 2026.

She was a loving and devoted mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

As a survivor of the Kymer Rouge genocide, Sroy showed incredible strength and resilience while raising her six children and providing them with love, care, and hope for a better future in the United States.

She was known for her famous crispy beef jerky, her love for puppies, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

Her kindness, strength and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and everyone who loved her.

A service was held at 11:00am on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

Procession and burial followed at Prairie Street Cemetery.
