Obituary
ELKHART — Shirley A. Searer, 70, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 10, 1945, in South Bend, to William and Katherine (Pletcher) Ganshorn.
Survivors include two sons, Wesley Searer of Tampa, Fla. and Blake (Amanda) Searer of Elkhart, one brother, Carl Ganshorn of Elkhart and two grandchildren, Keyana and Keegan Searer of Elkhart.
Shirley was employed at Crown International for more than 40 years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed antiques, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Billings Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin one hour prior.
Pastor Gary Sheets will officiate.
Interment will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
