Shirley Ann Hall, 87, of Goshen, Indiana passed away early Saturday morning, November 2, 2019 at Goshen General Hospital. Shirley was born in Goshen on June 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Harry Alvin and LeAnna Jane (Bates) Blough. In addition to her parents, her brother Duane Blough and her sister Marian Krebs preceded her in death.
On December 20, 1953 she married Kenneth LaVerne Hall. Kenneth passed away on July 28, 2009. To their union, three children were born, Sandy White and husband Charles of Goshen, Bruce Hall and wife Peggy of Cassopolis, MI., and Roger Hall and wife Patti of Joshua, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren survive as well.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she helped work the family business, Blough's Dairy in Goshen, with her Dad, brother, husband and two sons until it closed in 1974. She also worked at L.E. Johnson in Elkhart for a short time. They lived for many years in the Cassopolis (Union), MI area and used to spend winters in Florida until they finally settled to Greencroft in Goshen, IN. Shirley was a gift shop volunteer in Manor 3 for several years.
Per her wishes, cremation was chosen, Shirley and Kenneth will be scattered together at the Greencroft Goshen Celebration Memorial and Prayer Garden with a Celebration of Life Service in the Garden Room, Manor 3, on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with her family assisting.
Arrangements for Shirley are under the care of Billings Funeral Home and Altera Cremation Services of Elkhart.
