It was there that she formed a group called the Kent Lunch Bunch where they met for brunch twice a year. She later worked for JJ Babbitt for three years prior to retiring.
Shirley had a love for her cats and enjoyed sports. She especially enjoyed watching Notre Dame Football, the Cubs, and Nascar. In her earlier years, she loved to be outside gardening and tending to her flowers. She looked forward to attending the Hot Air Balloon festival and Ice Capades shows with her family. Shirley will be dearly missed.
