She was born Feb. 4, 1947, in South Bend to Elsie and Barbara (Grose) Jett.

She is survived by a daughter, Tami (David) McCumber of Portage; a son, Chris Golden of South Bend; four grandchildren; and a brother, Mike (Beth) Klajbor of Conyers, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call half hour before the 2 p.m. service Saturday at Hilltop Lutheran Church of the Ascension, 4114 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend. Pastor Michael Cobbler will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is handling the arrangements.

Ms. Golden graduated from Penn High School and was raised in the Lutheran faith. She worked at several fast food restaurants over the years and in health care, taking care of the elderly. She enjoyed outdoors, going to the zoo and amusement parks. She was a huge Elvis fan.
