Sherry D. Snyder, 70, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 2, 2017, at her home.

Sherry was born, in Elkhart, Dec. 11, 1946, the only daughter of Forrest C. and Francis Jane (Locke) Baker.

She married Harry A. Snyder on Jan. 30, 1980, in Elkhart; Harry survives, as well as three sons, Jeff (Danielle) Secor of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Darren Snyder and Ryan Brewton, both of Elkhart.

Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sherry was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Snyder Nelson and six brothers.

Sherry was a member of the DAV 19 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed spending time at the DAV and with her family.

A gathering of family and friends will at the DAV Chapter No. 19, 1205 Middleton Run Road, Elkhart beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Sherry's arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
