IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Sherri Renee

Cobb-Moore

Obituary

Mrs. Sherri Renee Cobb-Moore, 59, of Bristol, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1:15 am. She was born in Bedford, Indiana on August 30,1963 to the late Orvata (Dove) Cobb Patton and Harlan Cobb, who survives Sherri in North Vernon, Indiana. On December 30, 2017, Sherri married Billy W. Moore, Jr. in Elkhart, Indiana. He survives at home after eight wonderful years together.

Also surviving Sherri are her children, SGT Rory Jones, who is stationed with the US Army at Fort Riley, Kansas and Myklan "Mikki" Cobb, who lives in Bloomfield, Indiana; stepchildren Cruz A. Moore of Ennis, Texas and Caitlan Floor of Elkhart; brothers Donnie (Dana) Cobb of Whiteland, Indiana and Tracy (Lacey) Cobb of Worthington, Indiana; grandchildren Rhian Olivia Cobb and Ollie Hayes Cobb; 7 more grandchildren and a loving host of extended family, friends and neighbors. She also has two ferocious chihuahuas who are currently cherishing "mom's" memory, named Queso and Nacho (Queso what? and Nacho Business). So far, they have been unavailable for comment!

Sherri wished to keep things simple, so cremation is to take place with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart. No services have been scheduled at this time.

Sherri spent most of her adult life in the medical field as a data entry processor and medical records manager and was currently affiliated with Oaklawn at the time of her passing. Off the clock, Sherri was happy, light-hearted and perhaps a bit snarky as seen in the names of her two sidekicks Queso and Nacho. She absolutely loved watching the ID channel and the Food Network, where she would watch cooking shows and anything if it included Gordon Ramsay or Guy Fieri. As would be expected, she was very adept in the kitchen, although she preferred baking over everything else. Her cookies, cakes and pies guaranteed a regular stream of "guests". Sherri was also quite the country music aficionado and swooned at the crooning of Keith Urban, her "other husband". Billy got Sherri tickets to see Keith a few years back, and that pretty much "sealed the deal" with the country-western star as far as Sherri was concerned. In fact, Billy couldn't do anything but laugh when Keith came on the radio and Sherri would hush the kids 'cause "daddy" was singin' on the radio.

She also enjoyed camping in her earlier years, loved to play Bingo whenever she could, visit yard sales and flea markets and liked to vacation wherever the warm weather was, especially Florida.
