ELKHART - Mrs. Sherri L. Miller, 53, of Elkhart, passed away following a brief illness on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at 6:10 am.

She was born June 26, 1964 in Blaine, MN to the late Ben Brewers and Laurie M. (Jurek) Brewers, who survives in Elkhart. She later married Jack L. Miller on Oct. 1, 1983 in Elkhart. He survives along with her children Justin E. (Jessica) Miller, Danielle J. Miller, Tayler C. (Zac) Chaffee and grandchildren Mya, Lexa and Theodore Miller; siblings Mike (Jackie), Randy (Christy) Brewers and Amy (Mike) Spurgeon, and in-laws Ted and Phyllis Miller.

Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is hosting Sherri's Celebration of Life services with a memorial service scheduled for 5:00 pm on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018.  Visitation begins at 2 pm.  The Rev. Jason Freiburger of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church will officiate.

Sherri was a proud wife and mother who was gifted with many artistic talents and endeavors. She enjoyed refinishing antiques and had a booth at the Elkhart Antique Shop. She previously worked outside the home at Crown International, Dibley Chiropractic and Elkhart Community Schools. Sherri enjoyed life to its fullest, finding joy and happiness in even the most mundane of things.  She was a friend to everyone and her grandchildren; Mya, Lexa and Teddy meant the world to her.

Memorial donations may be made in Sherri's memory to the Child and Family Advocacy Center (CFAC) at CAPS of Elkhart County.
