Shelley Raye Marie Bockman, 56, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her home.

Shelley was born on March 5, 1964 in Plymouth, IN to Raymond Francis Bockman and Joyce Elizabeth (Taylor) Bockman.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond and her brother, Christopher F. Bockman and Uncle John Bockman.

Shelley is survived by her mother, Joyce; younger sister, Jill (Donald) McAfee all of Elkhart; niece, Merissa McAfee and step niece and nephew, Kara, and Tanner McAfee.

Shelley graduated class of 1982 at Triton High School in Bourbon, IN. She was a front desk clerk at Holiday Inn and worked at Walmart. Shelley enjoyed gardening and flowers, walking, going to the beach and eating out at restaurants. She was known to love being around children and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of her Life service will be at Church of God Ministries International, 304 W. Main St., Syracuse, IN  at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 15, 2020. Per the family's request, cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
