ELKHART — Shellese Reid-Jimenez, 51, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1961, to John W. Dancler and Sallie B. (Graham) Williams in Elkhart.
Survivors include her husband, Martin Jimenez of Elkhart; mother Sallie B. Williams of Elkhart; two sons, Jon Jamell Reid and Vaughn Lamar Reid, both of Elkhart; two brothers, Carl Graham Dancler and Michael L. (Jeanette) Dancler, both of Elkhart; sister Tanya L. (Rodney) Sleepers of South Bend; grandmother Thelma B. Graham of Elkhart; and three grandchildren, Devin McDonald of Charlotte, N.C., Conya From of Elkhart and Tysean Mauck of Dunlap.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Reid, and grandfather, Woodrow Graham Sr.
Shellese was a graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School.
She was employed as a dietary aid at Elkhart General Hospital.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service today, July 14, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Jamie Johnson of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church will officiate.
Cremation will follow at Altera Cremation Services.
