ELKHART -- Sheila M. Harbor, 56, of Elkhart, died at 2:05 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 12, 2009) at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born July 5, 1953, to Charles D. and Ornie M. (Davis) Harper. On Sept. 1, 1990, in Elkhart, she married James R. Harbor.

He survives, along with one son Ramon J. Harper of Elkhart; one daughter, Kizzy L. Harper of Elkhart; two brothers, Charles (Eva) Harper Jr. and Danny R. Harper, both of Elkhart; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Harbor was a 1971 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. She was employed with KIK Custom Products for several years and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, watching football, reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren and co-workers.

Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church, 29064 C.R. 16, Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Plez Lovelady, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
