Sheila A. Messick-Crocker, 60 of Elkhart passed away on June 3, 2017 at Center for Hospice Elkhart after a long battle with cancer. Sheila was born December 15, 1956 in Elkhart to the late Crisley and Dorothy Haggard-Messick. Sheila loved her dog Lucy and was an animal lover to all animals. She was a grandma to everyone and new everyone as a friend. Sheila had a very caring soul and fought tough battle with cancer with the love of God on her side.

Sheila is survived by daughter Melissa Davis; son Gabriel Elswick; sister Jannie (Merle) Allard; brother Dannie (Carolyn)Messick; 4 grandchildren Alaya, Kyle, Tasha and Clairsa and 4 great grandchildren and former spouse Eddie Crocker

Preceded in death by her brother Randall Messick.

A special thank you from the family to the doctors, nurses and friends that assisted Sheila during her battle with cancer.

Visitation with be on Saturday, June 10, 2017, 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon at the Riverview General Baptist Church, 1201 E Indiana Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516. Officiating will be Elder Don Williams and Pastor Rick Pirtle. Burial will be at Olive Cemetery, 61081 CR 3, Elkhart. Service are being handled by Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
