Sheila R. Baker, 67, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 19, 1951 in Elkhart to the late Chester J. and Elizabeth V. (Griffiths) Ulery.

She married her husband, Kenny Baker, in 1979 who precedes her in death along with her son, Shawn Baker. Sheila is survived by daughter, Julie (Paul) DeJohn; brother, John (June) Ulery; and sister, Jacqueline (Everett) Blodgett.

In accordance with Sheila's wishes, Cremation will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Elkhart. A private celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date.

Sheila worked as a shipping supervisor for Dart Container in Leola, PA for over 30 years prior to retiring. She was a very talented cook and was known for her scrumptious stromboli recipe. Her favorite past time was watching her favorite cooking and history channel shows while spending time with her two lovable cats and her adorable dog. During the summer, those past times were exchanged for her love of being out on Simonton Lake and enjoying the peacefulness of the water. Sheila will be missed by her loving family.
