Sharon Lee Nolen, 86, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Esther’s House in Elkhart. She was born on August 9, 1940, in Elkhart to the late Delbert and Ruby (Tribble) Campbell.

Sharon is also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Nolen; daughter, Tammy Johnson; and brother, Delbert Campbell Jr. She is survived by her son, Ralph Nolen Jr. of Mishawaka; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Campbell; and sister, Mary H. (Bill) Crowder.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart, IN. Cremation will follow Sharon’s celebration of life. Memorial donations may be given to the Center for Hospice Care c/o Esther’s House in Elkhart.

Sharon was a fun loving and ornery lady who lovingly took care of her home as a homemaker and devoted housewife. Family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with her children. Sharon loved crafting and watching Notre Dame in her spare time. Not only was she a huge fan of Notre Dame but she also was a devout Bears and Colts fan. Sharon always needed to know when their games were on. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
