Sharon was a hard-working, spiritual, and giving soul who would do anything for her family or for those in need. By trade, Sharon worked in the dietary department of the Concord School System. She also cleaned the Concord administration building, as well as her church for years.
Sharon was extremely family oriented and her unconditional love was most evident in her eagerness to do most anything with her beloved granddaughter's. She loved taking them to the movies, making sure they were well fed, and was overjoyed to simply sit and talk with them. Sharon was a talented guitar player and was part of her church's worship band for years. She also started a tradition of playing for her family every Christmas Eve while they sang along. Sharon created many memorable moments for her family that they will cherish forever.
Sharon was a ray of sunshine to her family. Her kindness effortlessly spilled out onto just about everyone she met. Sharon was a bastion of wisdom and grace, as she had a remarkable ability to weather just about any storm while remaining positive, no matter how dire the situation. Her faithful, one-of-a-kind positivity set a wonderful example for others. When Sharon wasn't working, she spent a lot of her time at her church, Meadowood Free Methodist; where she started a food pantry that she faithfully maintained weekly. Sharon slowed a bit as the years went on, but her enthusiasm for life never waned and her unwavering faith in her Lord set many positive examples for others. Apart from the countless hours Sharon volunteered at her church, she also was a dedicated "Prayer Warrior".
Ultimately, Sharon was a magnificent wife to David, mother to her children, and grandmother to her grandchildren. She held great pride for her family and continually showed them how important they were to her. She always advocated for quality time and did as much as she could to make each holiday special in its own way for all of those she loved. She always believed that a simple, kindly written card could unlock a person's heart.
