Shane D. Moore, 48, of Elkhart, passed away far too soon on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home.

Shane was born in Columbia City, IN to the late John D. Moore and Betsy (Stingel) Moore, whom survives. Shane is preceded in death by his father, John D. Moore who passed on February 10, 2009.

Shane is survived by his wife, Sharon Dotson-Moore; his mother Betsy Moore; six children, Trever, Nick, Angela, Carley, Ryer and Maverick; 2 grandchildren, Kennedy and Wyatt; sister, Lisa Vivaldo; and Shane's loyal sidekick, Zoey.

Shane was a Christian man who loved the Lord. He would share the words of Ron Carpenter and others.

Shane was a "self-made" man. He devoted 30 years to auto sales working at Town & Country Auto/Auto Correct. Shane enjoyed boating, camping, sitting by the campfire and swimming with family and friends. He especially loved snowmobiling and mowing the yard.

Shane was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. He was a very hard worker. Shane always saw the best in everyone. There was never a dull moment when he was in the room and was always the center of attention no matter where he was. Shane always had a joke to tell with a big gut laugh to follow and he would light up any room. He always said "I love you" before he said "goodbye."

A celebration to share Shane's life will be held at a later date when all  friends and relatives will be able to all get together.
