MISHAWAKA -- Seth Aaron Easterday, 29, of Mishawaka, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at his home.
Seth was born in Plymouth, on Feb. 12, 1979, to Jon and Deborah (Reeder) Easterday.
He is survived by his parents, Deb and Shawn Nicodemus of Elkhart and Jon and Chris Easterday of Cape Coral, Fla.; as well as his children, Bradley A. Easterday, age 4, and Hayley A. Easterday, age 6, of Mishawaka. Also surviving are brothers, Jeremy Mock of Elkhart, and Ian Easterday, Cape Coral; his grandmother, Virginia Easterday of Cape Coral; and stepgrandparents, Glenn and Marjorie Nicodemus of South Bend. He is also survived by his large extended family.
Seth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rella Pittman, John Reeder and John Easterday.
Seth's passion was working on boats, and he was a wizard when it came to anything fiberglass. He formerly worked at Godfrey Marine, Leer Co., and Tri-Lakes Marina. Seth was a 1997 graduate of Mariner High School in Cape Coral. He enjoyed computers, electronics, Notre Dame and listening to music.
Seth was a tournament paintball player who traveled to events in the area. The greatest joys of Seth's life were his two children, Bradley and Hayley.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
At his request, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up for his children, Bradley and Hayley Easterday, at Lake City Bank, 564 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart, IN 46514.
