Scott L. Dunham, 67, of Elkhart, formerly of California, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born in Ohio on March 14, 1954, to the late Willis Ray and Doris (Cox) Dunham.

Scott is survived by his daughters, Melissa (David) Gerry and Jocelyn (Bruno) Dos Santos; grandchildren, Xander, Brayden, Hunter, Nikita, Gage; sisters, Diane Aguilera and Suzanne Dunham. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Keith Dunham.

In accordance with Scott's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

Scott served proudly in the United States Marine Corps for several years and later became a junior high school science and math teacher in California before retiring. Scott was an independent man who enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycles in his spare time. Spending time with his grandchildren meant the world to Scott. They would do almost everything together; from playing video games with the boys, taking his grandchildren out to eat, to reading to his granddaughter virtually. Scott will be greatly missed by his family and all the children's lives he impacted as a teacher.
