GOSHEN -- Scott A. Blosser, 45, of Goshen, died at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday (May 5, 2009) in the emergency room at Elkhart General Hospital.


He was born May 23, 1963, in Goshen to David A. and Peggy M. (Yoder) Blosser.


Mr. Blosser's significant other, Rose Turner, survives at home. Also surviving are three sons, Nathan E. Blosser of Goshen, Bou A. Blosser of Middlebury and John T. Turner of Elkhart; two brothers, Rodney E. (Rochelle) Blosser of Goshen and Brad A. (Tori) Blosser of Middlebury; one sister, Kim (Mark) Himes of Goshen; one stepbrother, Bill (Sylvia) Emanuel of Elkhart; one stepsister, Sherry Swinehart of Mottville, Mich.; his mother, Peggy (Vern) Gillespie of Albion; and his stepmother, Shirley Hall of Bourbon.


He was preceded in death by his father and one stepbrother, John Gillespie.


Mr. Blosser worked in the RV industry more than 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing and playing golf. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a fan of NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family.


Friends may call one hour prior to Saturday's 1 p.m. funeral service at Calvary Baptist Church, 27664 C.R. 24, Elkhart. Pastor Dan Gelatt will officiate and burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.


Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is assisting with arrangements.
