She was born Jan. 26, 1986, in Alma, Mich., to Judy Gonzales. She married Gerardo Martinez in Elkhart.

She is survived by her husband, one son Giovanni Martinez, one sister Lidubina Gonzales of Goshen and her mother, Judy Castillo of Cornelia, Ga.

She was preceded in death by one son, Angel Martinez.

There will be a private family visitation that will take place prior to Tuesday's 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main St., Elkhart. The Rev. Wilson Corso of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church will officiate.

Sara was a homemaker, a good mother and friend. She enjoyed watching TV.
