Obituary
BRISTOL- Sandra I. Stamm, 79, of Bristol, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born August 23, 1936 in Elkhart to Wayland and Gladys (Sharkey) Burelson.
On December 18, 1954 she married the late Norman D. Stamm. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2004.
Survivors include 3 sons, Robin D. Stamm of Bristol, Scott N. (Cathy) Stamm of Elkhart and Kelly R. Stamm of Elkhart; 1 brother, Carlos of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Howard, Maline and Duane Burleson.
Sandra was previously employed at Whitehall Laboratories and later worked at Johnson Controls for several years prior to her retirement.
She was an avid lover of cats and always enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Big Fish Lake.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 16th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 17th at 1:00 PM at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
