Sandra Irene (Murphy) Warner, 88, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born on December 23, 1934, in Frankfort, IN, to the late William and Polly (Reed) Murphy.

Sandra is survived by her children, Laura Warner, Dina Correll, Terry (Tom) Wiley, and Robert (Beth) Warner; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Warner; and brother, Larry Murphy.

In accordance with Sandra's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held at Billings Funeral Home on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 1 PM with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 PM. Sister Nora Frost of Augustana Lutheran Church is officiating. Memorial donations in her honor may be made out to the Cass County Animal Control and Shelter, 323 M-62, Cassopolis, MI 49031.

Sandra began working for Elkhart General Hospital as a Nurse's Assistant in 1975 and remained there for over 30 years. In 1998, she began volunteering as a Red Coat, further assisting those in need around the hospital. She had an incredible work ethic and was proud of all she had accomplished.

In her spare time, Sandra could be found diving into a good book or visiting with family and friends, always looking forward to get-togethers at Baker's Nook every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. She was also an avid animal lover, especially when it came to cats and dogs.

Sandra will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
