Sandra "Sandy" L. Sanders (Newcomer), 74, of Elkhart, formerly of Rochester, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1946 to Harold and Pearl Newcomer in Rochester, IN.

Sandra was a graduate of Rochester Community High School and North Manchester University.  Sandra had previously worked for Karlis Brothers for most of her life and she held other careers such as a teaching assistant, telephone operator, and childcare provider. She was well known for her "gift of gab" and was blessed with many friends because of her social and welcoming demeanor. However, Sandra was best known for being a loving and devoted mother and spouse.

She leaves behind her husband Verse Sanders III; sons, Kevin Kesler and Timothy See Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Conley; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.

Sandra was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where a private memorial service will be held. In accordance with her family's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. and Altera Cremation Services in Elkhart. Memorials may be made to Sandra's family to help with funeral expenses.
