Heaven has gained another angel, we are sad to announce that Sandra Jean "Sandy" Crapo, 69, passed to her rest on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born on October 30, 1952 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Milton Lovely and Jean A. (Cooper) Lovely Batchelor. She married her true love Rex R. Crapo in 1992. Surviving is her husband Rex R. Crapo, two sons, Doug Mishler, Joshua R. Crapo & fiancée Tiffany Kempton; two daughters Trina Mishler and Kristin M. (Daniel) Adam; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Lovely, James (candy) Lovely and her best friend and sister Karen (Ray) Kleitz. In addition to her parents, a brother David P. Lovely preceded her in death.

Sandy graduated from Elkhart Central High School. She formerly worked as a brake operator for Amerimax Building Products. Sandy also worked at Dixie Cream Donuts, CVS, Nico Plastic's and at Northside Auto Salvage.

Sandy was the proud owner of a 1953 Chevy truck. She and Rex were members of the Michiana Classic Chevy Club, where she formerly served as secretary and treasurer.

She loved to be outside in her yard planting flowers and working in her garden. Mostly Sandy will be missed by many and was well loved by all.

In honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen, with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart. Condolences may be sent online to www.billingsfuneralhome.com
