Sandra Bell "Sandy" Kryder, 81, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in her home surrounded by love and family. Sandy, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on February 22, 1943, in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late James Leon Vandygriff and Ruth (Hedman) Vandygriff. She married her true love Charles L. Kryder on July 7, 1962, Charles passed away on December 6, 2014, after 52 years of marriage.

Surviving are her children, Charles L. (Lorrie) Kryder Jr. and Deborah (David) Frey; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren; also surviving are several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren; and her sister Leona Strickland. Sandy was preceded in death by her brother Terry Vandygriff.

Sandy worked for Vista Manufacturing, retiring after 23 years of service. She had attended Grace Bible Church for many years. Most of all, Sandra's family was the center of her life. She will be greatly missed.

A private family visitation and service will be held, cremation was chosen. Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
