Sarah J. "Jane" Beatty, 93, formerly of Goshen, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Golden Living Center in Elkhart. She was born on November 8, 1926 to the late Russell and Fannie (Stone) Hinderer.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Tracey (Fernando) Christner-Ochoa and Marla (Reginald) McCreery; stepdaughters, Penny (Larry) Avery and Christine (Charles)Rinehart; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "Dick" Beatty; stepson, Gary Beatty; granddaughter, Krystal Dikes; and four brothers.

Jane loved to play music and was an organist at Zion Lutheran Church for many years and played for the "Mock Twins" band.

A private family entombment will take place at the Peace Mausoleum in Rice Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street in Elkhart is in care of arrangements.
