Obituary
ELKHART — Ruth Louise Jones, 93, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Ruth was born March 29, 1923, in Goshen, to the late Dean and Rose M. (Lemon) Gordon.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and three sisters.
Ruth married Lance D. Jones on Aug. 29, 1941. He died in 2007.
Surviving are a son, Stephen D. Jones and a daughter, Sara J. Kasprzak, both of Elkhart, also six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ruth was a housewife.
She also helped her husband who owned Modern Kitchen Distributors.
She was a member of New Hope UMC. She enjoyed needlework and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In honoring Ruth's wishes, cremation was chosen.
Billings Funeral Home and Altera Cremation Services assisted with her arrangements.
