R. Juanita Anglin, 84, residing in Elkhart, went home to be with her Lord Sunday afternoon, January 17, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. Juanita was born on April 7, 1931 in Lagro, Indiana to Luther Rosco and Rheua Adeline (Bidwell) Bitzel. She married Robert Harold Barton Sr., Robert passed away on May 10, 1980 in Elkhart. Surviving are her daughters, Sharon Kay (David) Teeter of Elkhart and Beverly Ann Gardner of LaHabra, Calif.; 4 grandchildren, Tony (Cheryl) Barton, Michelle (Merrie Li) Camp, Emily Teeter and Allison (Andy) Brossman; 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren survive as well. In addition to her husband, a son Robert Harold Barton Jr., grandson Ronald LeRoy Wyman and four sisters preceded her in death. Juanita was a loving wife, mother and grammy. She worked for Kline's Department Store in Warsaw for nearly 20 years; and retired as the store manager from Falvey's in Warsaw. After her retirement, she moved to Elkhart. She was an active member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church, where she made many friends. She loved to collect antiques, enjoyed the outdoors, working in her garden and flowers. Services celebrating Juanita's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Visitation with the family will start at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Pastor Jeff Oliver of Pleasant View Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow at Carlton Cemetery in Elkhart.
