Russell Bucinski, 76, of Edwardsburg, MI and formerly of Wheaton, IL, was surrounded by family as he passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2024. Russ is survived by his wife, Kathy Bucinski, children Karen Marshall, Chuck (Nancy Thompson) Bucinski, Jennifer Cable, Daniel Vonkaenel, Joseph Vonkaenel (Dulce "Candy" Cuapio), Michael Vonkaenel, Howard (Molly) Cable and Marie Tutorow, grandchildren Victoria, William, Jordan, Shelby, James, Faith, Caitlin, Thomas, Joshua, Logan, Noah, Tamara, Elizabeth, Elijah, Addison and Lilly and one great-grandchild Jaxen. Also survived by his sister, Carol (Sam) Simerly of KS, father-in-law Max Cable (Diane Gulbrandsen) and sisters-in-law Patricia (Patrick) Rynne, Susan (Steve) Brown and Mary Keilman, all of IL, and nephew Michael Newburg. Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Bucinski and Bernice Ruback and brother Howard Newburg. Russell was born March 9, 1948 in Cicero, Illinois and grew up in the west suburbs of Chicago. Russell drove transportation for a limousine company and Recall in Illinois. He also worked at Martins Supermarket in Elkhart Indiana. He loved spending time outside to include fishing, golfing, and bird watching. He was loved by everyone, enjoyed his clowns, margaritas and classic cars. Russell was the best dad ever.
