Ruby Ann (Setty) Muncie, residing in Elkhart, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2023 at her home, with Adam and Maggie by her side. Ruby was so proud to make it to 90 years of age. Ruby was born on June 5, 1933 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Andrew and Margaret (Kehoe) Setty. She married Frederick Muncie, he died January 12, 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, a daughter Sheila Cardoza, brothers Robert, Donald, Raymond, Ernie, Marvin, Warren, an infant boy Setty, and sisters Mildred Sollars Setty and Etta Setty, preceded Ruby in death. Surviving are her children Susan (Tony) Ferro, Marsha Muncie, and a son Douglas Muncie; also, 11 grandchildren, Adam Muncie, David (Norma) Garcia II, Shane Garcia, Dreama (John) Holguin-Brummond, Michelle Muncie, Margaret "Maggie" Garcia, Cassandra Muncie, Michael (Stephanie) Muncie, Andrea Cardoza, Michael (Stephanie) Ferro and Dawn Ferro; 29 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, survive as well. Ruby also has a very special nephew Warren Setty II that always traveled to see her no matter what the weather was like.

Ruby was a loving mother, wife, and an amazing grandmother to her family. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter Susan, crocheting, and gardening. Ruby was a loving caregiver to all her family and everybody that the kids brought home. She loved Wrigley's Double Mint Gum. She was so loved and will be missed by all. Her family would like to thank her special caregivers Adam Muncie, Maggie Garcia, and Jennifer.

All services are private. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Frederick at Prairie Street Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at a future date. Kindly direct any memorials to Goshen Hospice.
