He was born Jan. 15, 1930, in Coffee Springs, Ala., to Marvin C. and Winnie A. (Barnes) Huguley. He married Joyce Farmer, June 18, 1950, in Columbus, Ga.
She survives along with three daughters, Brenda Huff of Union, Oveta Kaye (Eric) Lantz of Houston and Winnee (Robert) Dalton of Tellico Plains, Tenn.; one son, Tony (Nita) Huguley of White Pigeon, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Kessington Community Church, Union. Pastor Steve Steele will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is handling arrangements.
Mr. Huguley spent most of his life in the production field as a supervisor. He had worked in Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Florida and Illinois before coming to Indiana. He retired in 1992 from Stanco Products in Houston after eight years as production supervisor. He was a 1949 graduate of Baker High School in Columbus, Ga. He also graduated from Marsh Business College and was a three-year member of Kessington Community Church. He was known as a "kid" at heart and loved practical jokes and making people laugh. Always seen with a smile on his face, he was a devout Christian and had served many years as a deacon. He enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music.
