Rose Ann Allen, 86, of Elkhart, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her home.

Rose Ann was born on June 8, 1938 in Grundy, VA to Roosevelt and Georgia (Keen) Viers. She married the love of her life, Ronald E. Allen on February 5, 1956  in Elkhart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Georgia; daughter, Terry Ann VonBlon; granddaughter, Candy and siblings, Thelma "Thelmy" Mead, Braunt T. Mullins, Linda G. Viers and Gail Viers.

Rose Ann is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ronald Allen of Elkhart; daughters, Wanda (Jerry) Jones of Middleburg, FL and Tina Allen of Elkhart; grandchildren, Crystal (Brock), Brandon, April (Danny), Casey, Adam and Ciara; and 14 great grandchildren and many close nieces and nephews.

Rose Ann and Ron are members of New Testament Bible Church in Elkhart and past member of Elkhart Church of God for years. She was a Sunday school teacher and funeral coordinator.

Rose Ann loved her Lord and reading her Bible. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles with her husband, sewing and gardening.

Rose Ann was the life of the party. She was feisty yet enjoyed making people laugh.

Her life was being a wife, mom and nana/grandma.

A Funeral Service for Rose Ann will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 28, 2025 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Shirley Fox of New Testament Bible Church officiating.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.

Visitation will be the night before 2:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the funeral home.

Burial and graveside service will follow at Rice Cemetery.
