Rosalie M. Gross, 78, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Goshen General Hospital after an extended illness. Rosalie was born on August 16, 1944 in Chicago to the late John Joseph and Rosalie M. (Lehay) McHale. She married James L. Gross in September of 1961. Surviving is her husband of 61 years, James L. Gross; two sons, James W. (significant other Pam Mulford) Gross, Joseph (Barbara Moore) Gross, daughter Jennifer L. Gross (significant other Karl Shoufler); two sisters Estelle (Terry) Bowlby, Joan O'Hara; 3 loving grandchildren, Jeanette (Dalton) Kruger, Ryan Gross, Eric (Shannon) Gross; also 5 great grandchildren, Brody, Oliver, Charlotte, Hannah, and Hayden. In addition to her parents, an infant sister Ellen McHale preceded her in death.

Rosalie was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, loved spending time with her family, watching her favorite soap operas, especially the Young & Restless, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Visitation for Rosalie will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 411 W. Vistula St., Bristol. On Thursday, July 27, 2023 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church there will be a one hour visitation at 10 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Rev.
