Obituary
ELKHART — Ronald G. "Ron" Papa, 69, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Riverside Village in Elkhart.
He was born Nov. 6, 1943, in Elkhart to Joseph R. and Norma L. (Lowey) Papa.
Survivors include a son, Scott Papa of Fayetteville, N.C.; daughter Nicole Papa of Vandalia, Mich.; brother David (Shelia) Papa of Elkhart; sister Connie Jo White of Elkhart; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked for various local RV and wood products manufacturers in the Elkhart area prior to his retirement.
Graveside services will be at a later date at Prairie Street Cemetery. The U.S. Army and DAV 19 will provide graveside military honors.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
