Ronald R. "Ron" Myers, 60, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born in Martinsville, VA on November 24, 1962, to the late Clarence and Cora Yvonne Hawkins.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Anita Myers (Roberts); children, Kayla Roberts, Raymond Myers, Tony Idlewine Jr., Amy Robinson; grandchildren, Abigail Roberts, Jordan Puckett, and Kouper Idlewine; 8 siblings, his mother-in-law, Peggy Flora, and his "bonus kids and grandchildren".

Ron was a man with a good sense of humor, a joke to share, and a smile that could light up a room. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked as a painter for several years. Ron's family meant everything to him. He enjoyed family cookouts and road trips where he would have many adventures with his family. In his spare time, he would watch country westerns, his favorite soap opera, and listen to country music. You could always catch him singing something! He was particularly fond of Chris Stapleton. Ron would often spend time with his friends and family out on the racetracks and would happily cheer them on from the stands. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.

In accordance with Ron's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given directly to the family to help alleviate funeral expenses.
