Ronald L. “Ron” Moore, 79, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Elkhart, IN on October 7, 1946, to the late Robert and Betty (Knight) Moore.

Ron is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Moore and grandson, Mitchell “Mitch” Dubash. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol May (Grames) Moore; daughter, Stacy (Tim) Ott; brother, Monte Moore; and grandson, Joseph “Joe” (Jen Marcus) Dubash.

In accordance with Ron’s wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Adamsville Cemetery in Edwardsburg, MI.

Ron was an easy-going and kind gentleman. He worked for most of his life in general labor for several local factories and retired in 2014 from Bull Moose Tube. Ron enjoyed spending time with his wife and family where he would enjoy a nice meal together. From time to time, he would tinker around with notes on his guitar and listen to music from his stereo. Ron will be dearly missed by his loving family.
