Ronald “Ron” Jon Fumarolo, 66 , of Elkhart, went Home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Ron was born on December 11, 1959 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada to the late Orlando “Londy” Fumarolo and Rose (Bibbo) Fumarolo. He married the love of his life, Cindy (Carter) Fumarolo on August 18, 1984.

Ron is preceded in death by his father, Orlando and mother, Rose whom he formed a strong bond with her up until her passing.

Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cindy of Elkhart; children; Devin Fumarolo (Rachel Sodeman) of Granger, IN and Danielle (Felipe) Mazzocato of Osceola, IN; grandchildren, Natalia, Carson, Lorenzo and Ariella ; brother, Greg (Amy) Fumarolo of Ft. Wayne, IN; and several nieces and nephews and many beloved customers and work family.

Ron’s upbringing included being a Cub Scout as well as playing defensive tackle at Northside School. He graduated from Ivy Tech with an associate degree and also pursued his interest in art while attending school.

Ron was a well-known and respected HVAC technician for many years, working for Cook and Service Experts before retiring in 2022. He took great pride in his work and received numerous service awards throughout his career. He also took on many side jobs for people in the community and became affectionately known to his clients as “Ron Only.”

Ron and his wife, Cindy, were both members of Elkhart Church of Christ.

In his spare time, Ron enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Indianapolis Colts. He and Cindy loved to travel many places and especially tropical destinations. Ron was also a thrill seeker who loved riding roller coasters.

Ron was a positive person who was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a hardworking man who rarely complained and remained positive and determined until the end. His kindness, work ethic, generosity, and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew him.

Friends and family may visit with the family on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

A Funeral Service for Ron will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2026 with 1 hour visitation before the start of the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with his brother-in-law, Terry Carter officiating.
