Roland E. Guffey, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at his home, after an extended illness. He was born on September 24, 1954 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Robert Eugene and LaVonne (Nash) Guffey.

He is survived by a son, Robert Froelich, two brothers, Rick (Karlena) Guffey , Duane Guffey , sister Pamela Guffey and former wife and caregiver Joyce Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Debra Hansen.

Roland worked as an automobile mechanic and formerly worked for Tom Naquin Cheverolet and Lochmandy Dodge Motors. He enjoyed playing darts and had won many trophies in area dart tournaments.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen, a family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
