He was born April 29, 1976, in Tampico, Tamulipas, Mexico, to Roberto Hernandez and Sofia (Ramirez) Escobar.

Mr. Ramirez Escobar is survived by one daughter, Africa Miryelle Rojas Escobar of Mexico; his fiancee, Teresa L. Firestone of Elkhart; three brothers, Daniel, David and Mario Escobar all of Mexico; his parents of Mexico; and his grandmother, Celia Avila of Mexico.

Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Burial will be at a later date in Acapulco, Mexico.

Mr. Ramirez Escobar worked at Parr Technologies, Elkhart and formerly worked at Accra Pac and Hinsdale Farms. He was a happy person who loved to watch and play soccer, surf at Acapulco and help people in need. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a degree in psychology. His motto was peace and love.
