BRISTOL — Roberta J. "Bobbie" Stephic, 66, of Bristol, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Elkhart to Floyd A. and Gladys Mae (Waldbeser) Kauffman. On Oct. 18, 1986, she married Donald F. Stephic in Elkhart. He survives.
In addition to her husband and mother, other survivors include a daughter, Christine (Paul) Slater of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; stepsons Donald F. (Tonia) Stephic II and Shane A. Stephic, both of Elkhart; brother John L. Kauffman of Elkhart; granddaughter Nicole Stephic of Elkhart; and grandson Nicholas Stephic of Elkhart.
Bobbie was a graduate of Bristol High School. She was a member of Goshen Evangelical Church and loved to spend time knitting, crocheting, reading books, cooking, watching NASCAR and taking care of her loving dogs and cats.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.
