Obituary
Robert W. "Guido" Bishop Jr., 51, of Elkhart, passed away early Monday, October 13, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. Bob was born on October 14, 1962 at Camp Lejeune, N.C. to Robert W. and Emma (Scharff) Bishop.
He married Vicki L. Hunt on December 8, 2007 in Cassopolis, Mich. Vicki survives, as well as his children, Mike and Elizabeth Bishop of Selmer, Tenn., Kira Bishop of Memphis and Emma Bishop of Eau Claire, Mich.; one granddaughter Addison Starnes; sisters, Paula (Ed) Jerzak of South Bend, Diane (Steve) Fisher of Lakeville and a brother Alexander Bishop of Indianapolis; parents Robert W. and Emma J. Bishop of Niles, Mich. also several nieces and nephews survive as well.
Robert formerly worked at Monaco Coach Corp. for 15 years in the surface and painting area. He was an avid reader and enjoyed and was very good at crocheting.
He will be missed by his family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon (12'o'clock) Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation will follow the gathering.
