SOUTH BEND -- Robert W. "Bob" Reddie, 61, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011, at 9:36 p.m. at his home of natural causes.

He was born July 26, 1949, in Highland Park, Mich., to William and Betty B. (Norton) Reddie, who preceded him in death along with a brother, Rick Reddie.

Surviving are his former spouse, Debra Church of Warsaw; two sons, Robert J. "Jamie" (Alicia) Osborn of South Bend and William Reddie of Iowa; three daughters, Rebecca Osborn of Elkhart, Kelly Osborn of Columbia, Mo., and Monica Reddie of Iowa; two brothers, Craig (Tammy) Reddie of Milwaukee, Wis., and Johnnie (Kelly) Reddie of Alpena, Mich.; and grandchildren Robert J., Paige, Maddie, Courtney, Hailey and Logan Osborn.

No services have been scheduled at this time. In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bob had been disabled for many years, but was a general contractor before that.
